I would love to work with any of you if you would like to host a Pampered Chef kitchen or catalog show. (Thank you to those of you from our class who have already had one.)After graduating from UMD with a teaching degree in Music Education, I ended up working for Northwest Airlines as a flight attendant for 9 years. Once, we had our first child, flying was not going to work. I was based in
New York and Boston. There is something about MN that keeps me here. I look forward to seeing everyone at our reunion!!!

...I know right where I am, I'm in my living room! Susan Peterson (Cary)dropped me an e-mail so I checked out your Class of '86 20 year reunion Web page. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to Duluth in July, but I will definitely keep it in mind. I'm currently planning a two to three week trip to Katmandu, Nepal and Bhutan via Bangkok, Thailand in October, 2006, so my vacation time may need to be saved-up until then! When the time gets a little closer, I'll check in to the Web site again. Feel free to share my
e-mail and/or this information with folks from our class...
I graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis in 1991 with a BA in
Geography. I currently live in Seattle, Washington where I've been since Augsburg. I work as a Systems Administrator in the corporate offices/headquarters of Nordstrom. I support all the Apple Macintosh computers which are mainly in the Advertising/Marketing department. I really enjoy traveling and have recently been to all sorts of places including
Istanbul, Turkmenistan (Central Asia), London, Berlin, Hong Kong &
Guangzhou, China, New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Key West!

Melody Healey, now Eckdahl, lives in Blaine, MN, just outside of Minneapolis. I have been married for almost 5 years and have no children, as most of my time is spent between work, travel, my dogs and volunteer activities (don't have any energy left at the end of the day for kids!)

I work as a technical/management consultant for a branch of Microsoft, and can honestly say that I enjoy my job!!

My husband and I love to travel in our free time. We just got back into town from a two week spree in Italy and are already planning the next big adventure! I would love to hear about the cool places you've all been to!!

I'm looking forward to seeing all of my old friends from high school as most of you I haven't seen in over 10 years!

Looking forward to July!!
Melody

Jason Askelin checking in. Married, and working at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (even more boring than Duluth was in 1986) My wife and I have a 9 year old boy. Life is good. I'm very unlikely to be able to make it in July, as our family vacation is scheduled then, and we'll likely be driving the pacific coast highway. Hope all of you are well.

This is Lynn (formerly Isola) Laakso. I live in Marquette MI but I'm not a Yooper and never will be (I insist that I moved here under duress). Since leaving the Twin Cities in 1995 I've come to enjoy it in the U.P. - it's really beautiful on this part of Lake Superior...

I attended UMD a couple years and finished at the "Main U" in '91 as an IT dropout to the Carlson School of Management. But I ended up in IT anyway and have been doing so for 18 years now.

In 1992 I married Kelly and we lived in Edina and Richfield a while, then off to Marquette. We have a daughter Sydney almost 8 years old. She's going into 3rd grade and my folks tell me she's just like me...

She and Kelly will be standing in a wedding the weekend of the reunion so I'm coming alone. My little girl is the flowergirl and she's pretty mad I'll be gone on "her" big day...

Look forward to seeing you!

Annette (Gifford) O'Brien. The day after graduation, I moved to MPlS to attend North Central Bible College to begin a crazy rollercoaster of a ride called my life. With 25 years of experience now, I can gratefully say that God has been with me the entire time teaching me every step of the way.

By day I am a Sales & Marketing Assistant at a firm that specializes in Designing/Building Veterinary Practices, Funeral Homes and Dental Practices. By night I am wife (of 23 yrs to Mike O'Brien), and mother to 4 very cute kids: Kyriann - 23, Shannon - 19, Shawn - 13, & Samantha 10. (Being a mom is exhaustingly wonderful.) I am not a grandma nor mother-in-law yet, but look forward to that adventure when it comes.

We currently reside in Willmar, MN after spending time in Mpls, Thief River Falls, Sauk Rapids, Roscoe, St. Cloud, Oshkosh (WI), Spicer, and New London.

I continue to use my God-Given abilities to teach, speak and lead: I am a Sunday School Teacher, a Weds. Night Girls Club Leader, a Junior Bible Quiz Coach, formerly a Tupperware Consultant, and Theatre leader for Various other activities.

My hobbies include: gardening, reading, creatively teaching kids "life", and socializing by any means.

I will not be attending the 25yr reunion, but do appreciate reading about everyone on FB.
